Puffed Rice Laddu
Puffed Rice laddu is simple and traditional recipe made with jaggery.
Ingredients:
300 gm of puffed rice
800 gm of jaggery(grated)
3 to 4 teaspoons ghee
4 cups of water
Preparation:
Place a jaggery in a pan and add water saute and cook until the jaggery gets dissolves(cook in low fame)
Cook till until the syrup comes to thick consistency.(to check this take a bowl add some water ,drop a little syrup into bowl .it should form a soft ball , when placed between two fingers it forms thread like consistency).
Then add puffed rice and mix well.
Turn off the flame let it cool for a while
Apply ghee to hands and divide into equal portions,then shape in the form of laddu.
Puffed rice laddu is ready to serve.
