Chicken Pulusu/kodi Pulusu(Andhra style)

Chicken pulusu / Kodi pulusu is a delicious and tasty recipe.In andhra it is one of the famous recipe and it is perfect combination with Dosa,vada.



Ingredients:


500 gms of chicken pieces

1 cup of ginger-garlic and coconut paste(grind ginger,garlic,1 small piece cinnamon dry/fresh coconut pieces)

2 green chilies chopped

2 medium size chopped tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

3 to 5 teaspoons red chilly powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

5 curry leaves

1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves

2 to 3 cloves

Salt as per taste

4 to 5 teaspoons oil

Preparation:

Wash and clean the chicken pieces properly .

Boil chicken pieces by adding some salt,turmeric powder 2 to 3 teaspoons of red chilly powder.

Heat oil in the pan add chopped onions,green chilies,tomatoes,curry leaves ,salt and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.

Add ginger-garlic and coconut paste ,mix well and fry for 2 min and add 1 to 2 teaspoons of red chilly powder,coriander powder and saute for 3 to 5 min.

Now,add this masala to the boiled chicken ,mix well and cook for 4 to 7 min .


Finally,add chopped coriander leaves serve hot with Dosa or vada.
