Semolina Uttappam

Semolina Uttappam or rava or sooji uttappam is a instant recipe .it is prepared very easily and quickly .

They are very soft and very good in taste.

These are very good for lunch boxes and evening time snack .

And the process of preparation also takes less time.





Ingredients:

1 cup of rava (sooji or semolina)

1 cup curd 

1 chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

2 chopped green chilies

1/4 teaspoon soda bicarbonate

Salt as required

Oil for shallow fry


Preparation:

Take a bowl add rava ,curd ,soda bicarbonate,salt and little amount of water mix well and set aside for 20 to 30 minutes.

Spread 1/2 teaspoon of oil in a non-stick pan or tawa .

Pour ladleful of batter in center ,spread gently .do not spread too much.

Sprinkle chopped onions,green chilies, coriander over the uttappam.

Add 1 teaspoon of oil around the uttappam and cook on medium flame.

One side is cooked ,flip over to other side and drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of oil.

Now ,semolina uttappam is ready serve hot with coconut chutney.
