Nellore Chepala pulusu (Fish curry)
Ingredients:::
- 1 kg Fish(cut into pieces)
- 1/2 to 1 cup of Oil
- 2 lemons size Tammarind
- 4 to 7 teaspoons ofMirchi powder
- 1 big Onion
- 2 Tomato
- 4 to 5 green chillies
- 4 to 5 Raw mango pieces
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds(avalu)
- 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds(menthulu)
- 2 tspCorriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 5 to 8 curry leaves.
- salt
- First we have to wash the fish properly and cut into pieces
- Soak Tammarind in water for five to ten minutes
- Heat oil,add mustard seeds,chopped onion,tomato,green chillies then cook it for few minutes
- Then add fish pieces,turmeric powder,mirchi powder(4 to 5 spoons),salt then mix well and leave it for four to five minutes then add tammarind pulp,mango pieces and cook it for ten to fifteen minutes.
- finally roast some mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds and grind the mixture then add 3/4th spoon of powder mixture then mix and allow it for 1 to 2 minutes then add some corrainder leaves.
- Finally our delicious and tasty fish curry is ready.
