Nellore Chepala pulusu (Fish curry)


Fish curry(chepala pulusu): chepala pulusu is most delicious south Indian recipe .it is tasty curry it is good with rice.

  
Ingredients:::


  • 1 kg Fish(cut into pieces)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup of Oil
  • 2 lemons size Tammarind
  • 4 to 7 teaspoons ofMirchi powder
  • 1 big Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 4 to 5 green chillies
  • 4 to 5 Raw mango pieces
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds(avalu)
  • 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds(menthulu)
  • 2 tspCorriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 to 8 curry leaves.
  • salt
Preparation of fish curry ::


  • First we have to wash the fish properly and cut into pieces
  • Soak Tammarind in water for five to ten minutes
  • Heat oil,add mustard seeds,chopped onion,tomato,green chillies then cook it for few minutes
  • Then add fish pieces,turmeric powder,mirchi powder(4 to 5 spoons),salt then mix well and leave it for four to five minutes then add tammarind pulp,mango pieces and cook it for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • finally roast some mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds and grind the mixture then add 3/4th spoon of powder mixture then mix and allow it for 1 to 2 minutes then add some corrainder leaves.
  • Finally our delicious and tasty fish curry is ready.
