Nellore Gongura Pachadi

Tasty Tasty Gongura pachadi:

Gongura pachadi is most famous chutney is Andhra .it is very good combination with rice and ghee.


Ingredients::


  • Gongura
  • dry mirchi(yandu mirchi)
  • oil
  • salt
  • mustard seeds(avalu)
  • curry leaves
  • garlic
  • fenugreek seeds(mentulu)
  • corriander seeds(dhaniyalu)
  • jeelakarra
Method of preparation::

  • First we have to wash 1 bunch of gongura properly and then squeeze the leaves properly.
  • and put on the stove keep the pan and pour three to four full spoons of oil on the pan and add 10 to 15 mirchi (according to your taste) on it.
  • after that we have to add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds,corriander seeds, jeelakarra and fenugreek seeds then fry it for two minutes and grind all these ingredients.
  • And in the same pan put the gongura leaves and cook it for few minutes.
  • now mix the grinded powder in this cooked gongura mix well.
  • then take another pan and for seasoning pour two to three spoons of oil then add mustard seeds,two pieces mirchi, curry leaves,four pieces of garlic and add this to our gongura paste and our tasty tasty gongura pachadi is ready.
