Royyalu(prawns) Biryani(andhra style)
Royyala(prawn) Biryani is tasty and delicious dish to eat.
Ingredients:::
Royyalu(prawns) : 500 gms
Basmati Rice : 2 cups
Ginger_garlic paste : 2 teaspoons
Onion(medium) : 2
Green chilies : 3
Tomatoes : 2
Red chilly powder : 3 teaspoons
Garam masala : 1/2 teaspoon
Dhaniya powder : 1 spoon
Bay leaf : 3
Cinnamon : 2 pieces
Cloves : 3
Ghee : 3 spoons
Salt : as per taste
Oil : 3 spoons
Turmeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Chopped Coriander leaves : 2 teaspoons
Preparation of prawns biryani::
- Soak the basmati rice for 30 minutes before the preparation.
- Firstly clean the prawns.
- Boil the prawns by adding salt,Turmeric powder for 5 to 10 minutes till the water content is absorbed.
- After finishing he process keep it aside.
- Heat the oil in the pan and add cinnamon,cloves,bay leaf fry it for 1 minute
- Add chopped onions,tomatoes,green chilies,salt then fry it for 5 to 10 minutes
- Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder, ginger_garlic paste,garam masala,dhaniya power then cook it 4 to 7 minutes
- Now add prawns fry it for 3 to 5 minutes
- Then add 3 cups of water and boil it for 4 minutes
- Add 2 cups of basmati rice,3 teaspoons of ghee,coriander leaves and close the lid until rice cook.
- Now our yummy and tasty prawns biryani ready...
