Dhokla Churmur

Dhokla churmur is a tasty and easy snack recipe .


Ingredients:::


Dhokla                             250 gms

Cabbage(Grated)               1/2 cup

Carrot(Grated)                  1

Red chilies                       5 

Mustard seeds                  1 teaspoon

Oil                                  2-3 tsp

Asafoetida                       1/4 tsp

Curry leaves                     5-8 leaves

Urad dal                          1 tsp

Turmeric powder               1/2 tsp

Lemon juice                     2-4 tsp

Carom seeds( vammu)       1/4 tsp

Corainder                         for garnish

Salt to taste



Preparation::



  • Heat the oil in a nonstick pan break the red chilies and remove seeds.
  • And also add asafoeida,mustard seeds,urad dal,carom seeds,curry leaves and red chilies to the pan and saute for few minutes
  • add grated cabbage,carrot and mix  for few minutes.
  • add turmeric powder and salt ,mix well,cover and cook for six to eight minutes.
  • Crush the dhokla and add to the pan and mix well
  • add the lemon juice,chopped coriander and mix again. 
  • now our yummy snack is ready to serve...
