Bhindi Fry (Lady Finger or Okra)
Lady finger fry is simple and tasty recipe it is good with both rice and roti.
Ingredients::
Bhindi(okra) : 250 gms
Onion(big) : 1
Mustard seeds : 1/2 tsp
Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder : 1 tsp
Coriander : for garnish
Salt : as per taste
Oil : 5 to 6 tsp
Preparation:::
- First cut the bhindi horizontally into small pieces.
- and also cut the onion into small pieces
- heat the oil in non stick pan add mustard seeds. after a second add onions and stir until it turns into golden colour.
- then add bhindi,red chilly powder and salt into the pan and stir them to mix all the ingredients .
- close the pan with the lid for 10 to 15 minutes. (in a medium flame)
- then open the lid add chopped coriander and mix it well.
- now, our bhindi fry is ready.
